Jane’s Dancing Bear Auctions is located in the little Hamlet of Roxbury, NY. Our auctions are held in the old Masonic Lodge on Bridge Street, across from the Public Lounge.  We are always interested in quality consignments, so please call us if you have anything you would like to sell at auction.  Jane recently acquired a box truck so we have lots of room to deliver your items both locally and long distance.  Please check our Home page or call for more information.

Now, here’s some information about our home town:

Roxbury is located in Delaware County in the beautiful Catskill Region of New York State.  Our town is becoming a destination spot for visitors who come to the mountains for all kinds of sports and fun,  and just the joy of being in a place where the air is clean and the world moves at a slower pace.

You can take a ride on the old Delaware-Ulster Railroad. It’s an exciting adventure for the children.  There are romantic evening rides for the adults, as well.  The entire family can watch one of the 1898 baseball games played by teams that follow the old rules and wear vintage style uniforms.  It is truly a step back in time!

The Roxbury Arts Group offers all kinds of events including art exhibits and live entertainment.  Plan to stay at The Roxbury Motel around the corner from the auction, which offers visitors incredible and unique accommodations.  Check them out online; it’s a great place to stay.

There is food, fun and bargains galore at Jane’s Dancing Bear Auctions!  And we now have a retail store across from the auction house that is open all week.

Come for the Auction, Stay for the weekend.  But beware!  Our enchanting town may steal your heart away!
